Reseller Choices Ahead for Collaboration say Mitel

Speaking to Comms Business Magazine, Alison Brewer, Solutions Marketing Manager at Mitel sees three choices in taking the collaboration proposition to market.

“One is to team up with a Microsoft Gold partner and get involved in joint sales. The second is to invest in in-house skills to become Microsoft Active Directory and Exchanges credited, which provides a further opportunity to add value. The third, requiring the most investment, is to become a Microsoft Gold partner, which typically takes at least six months.

As a result of the upfront investment required to gain the necessary skills, most Mitel partners are currently going for the first option in order to get to market quickly. Mitel is working hard to team up complementary partners across the Mitel and Microsoft channel bases and our high touch team are also involved in helping to make the big deals happen.”
