Nimans is urging resellers to set their customers free by taking advantage of a new headset innovation from Plantronics – the first portable PC-based wireless device that features DECT technology.
The distributor says the Savi 430 combines outstanding sound quality with a noise cancelling microphone as part of user-friendly functionality and a stylish portable design – boasting an impressive 115 metre wireless range.
Nimans’ Plantronics headset specialist Kerry Partington says the Savi 430 is a professional quality UC wireless headset designed for frequent softphone usage.
“This is the first product of its type to hit the market which offers resellers new ways to expand their headset revenue streams. As computer-based usage continues to expand this headset adopts the proven sound quality of DECT for unsurpassed high grade audio quality even in the most demanding working environments.”
Kerry confirmed that the Savi 430 benefits from plug and play installation, up to six hours talk time, a DECT USB dongle and an integrated base and charging cradle.
“This is another major step forward in portable headset design and overall high performance,” she concluded. “It’s a sign of the times. Not that long ago Bluetooth was all the rage but it limits people to around 10 metres away from their desks, based on only 10-15 active devices in a typical office environment. With increased adaptive working trends, demand for the highest spec technology has increased. DECT represents a next generation solution in mobile convergence.”
