Resellers have been putting themselves to the test – gaining a valuable insight into the latest product developments from Siemens Enterprise Communications, and becoming official accredited suppliers at the same time.
A Partner Enabling Day took place at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters and proved a ‘qualified success’ – attracting dealers from as far as Swansea and Cambridge. Latest updates to the OpenScape Office MX, HX and LX system platforms were all on the agenda as part of the informative event that featured key personnel from the manufacturer and distributor.
In addition resellers had the chance to become an accredited SOCA (Siemens Open Communications Associate) by demonstrating their sales knowledge and expertise. This involved sitting an online test where successful candidates walked-away with an official certificate.
“It’s been an excellent update, giving me the confidence and knowledge to clinch more sales,” said one Leigh-based dealer. “The SOCA exam, from a credibility point of view, was a real bonus as it reinforced my increased understanding and general expertise.”
His positive feedback was echoed by a Lancashire dealer who commented: “I came here to learn more about selling the systems because I’ve previously done the technical training. I really needed to know the best way forward. It’s given me a better overall view of how to position things against the competition and proved a very worthwhile exercise. I have a much more defined route forward.”
