Redstor has announced it has appointed Richard Morecroft as their new Channel Sales Manager.
Redstor specialise in delivering innovative and flexible cloud IT services through its UK-wide partner network. The company protects the data for over 10,000 customers, a number which continues to grow. With this growth comes the opportunity for Redstor to sell to a larger market and Richard plans to grow Redstor’s Partner Programme in the UK as well as potentially looking to expand into the American market.
As a Channel Sales Manager, Richard is responsible for the Channel Partner and Reseller Programme within Redstor; this includes the strategy, sales and support for all indirect routes to market. Richard has a number of plans for Redstor, which start with ensuring increased support and focus for Redstor’s existing partners.
Before working for Redstor, Richard worked for many large enterprises, including BT, Cisco and Vodafone, where he worked to create new product bundles and channels. In addition, he has experience as a consultant implementing new technologies and product bundles with small start ups and worked with companies such as IBM, HP, Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens and Sony.
Richard said: “The data management market is growing at a very fast pace with data management becoming increasingly valuable to every company and country. As a nation, we are also acutely aware of the potential for losing a whole corporate physical site and the catastrophic effect this can have. These facts contribute to making data management the biggest market opportunity this decade and resellers are realising the potential to be part of this growth.”
He continues: “I am also keen to find new and exciting routes to market for Redstor; I like to think outside the box.”
