Rocks Strengthens Sales Foundations at Entanet

Entanet, the leading business-to-business Internet and telecommunications services provider, has appointed a senior sales professional with more than 20 years of experience to spearhead the development of its sales strategy.

Brian Rocks has been appointed Sales Manager at the Telford-based company, with a brief to help the company take its business development efforts to the next level and thus support the continued growth of Entanet’s customer base.

Over the past year, Entanet has made significant investment in the expansion of its communications network and in professional customer services and technical support staff to meet the needs of its partners and to provide additional capacity for further business development. Rocks’ appointment signals the beginning of the next stage of the company’s advancement, says the Vice President of Entanet, John Tsai.

“Entanet is now recognised as one of the leading providers of professional business voice and data services but we have always taken one step at a time and made sure that we are ready to deliver on customer expectations. Over the past year we have put additional resources in place to support the next phase of our growth. Brian’s appointment marks the continuation of that strategy – one in which Entanet will build on the firm foundations we have already established to expand and extend our portfolio and service offerings to more businesses throughout the UK.”

Commenting on his appointment, Rocks states: “Entanet is a forward-thinking and customer-oriented business with an excellent reputation and I’m delighted to be joining the management team at this critical phase the company’s development. Many exciting opportunities lie ahead and I am very much looking forward to working with Entanet’s partners to help them realise their full potential.”

It is Entanet’s commitment and approach to partners that sets the company apart in a highly competitive market, says Rocks. “Entanet empowers and encourages its partners without compelling them to make too many commitments or putting too many constraints in place. We will continue to do that and develop closer partnerships with resellers as we move to the next phase of growth. We need to understand the challenges resellers face in terms of retention and development of customers in more detail so that we can drive further growth together.”

Rocks brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Entanet. He has held a number of senior sales positions at major telecoms organisations, managing business development for a wide range of solutions such as managed networks, fibre infrastructure and cable-based services. He has joined Entanet from Service Direct, where he held the post of Network Services Manager. Prior to this he spent close to two years running his own consultancy and reseller business, gaining valuable experience of working on the front line with end customers.
