Rocom and Avaya Continue Vertical Workshop Events

Distributor Rocom is to hold another in their series of vertical market workshops at Welwyn Garden City on 9th December 2008.

Bringing together vendors and end-user vertical market experts, this free workshop will help resellers gain a better understanding of end-user ICT needs and how these can be addressed with Avaya to secure new business. NMS Adaptive will also be demonstrating how their systems can be tailored to suit the needs of the education market.

An industry expert will draw upon their experience to present the common pain points encountered by resellers and offer proven solutions to help increase sales.

Feedback at the initial workshops in October was extremely positive, with delegates describing them as “extremely helpful, with fantastic demo’s” and “very informative”. Several of the dealers who attended are already making progress in the Education sector based on the information communicated at the meetings.

Kevin Harrison, Head of Rocom’s Avaya Business Unit commented: “We were delighted with the reaction to the initial two workshops we held in October and we’re looking forward to seeing more dealers in December. The Education workshop provides a detailed insight into the UK’s education market, funding structures and buying procedures and will help our partners make headway into this potentially difficult sector.”

Rob Wiles, Distribution Account Director for Avaya, commented: “Gaining a better understanding of your market will help resellers engage and communicate the right solutions. Avaya's range of Intelligent Communication systems provide powerful and compelling benefits for each and every vertical, enabling resellers to help their customers achieve superior results and gain competitive advantage.”
