Rocom & Commsoft Europe Focus on Channel Partnership

After years of working together, Distributor Rocom and applications vendor Commsoft have announced a new strategy working to support the Rocom dealer channel

Rocom has been supplying Commsoft products to their dealer channel for several years but, says Bonnie Church, Marketing Director at Commsoft, “In the light of recent ownership and management changes at the Wetherby based distributor and the latest Commsoft Europe product releases there is a renewed level of interest in all things Commsoft.”

Recent legislation has pushed call recording to the forefront with more and more end user companies recognising the need to keep call records for audit, cost control, security and legislation purposes. Dealers are being asked for these solutions and many are now pro-actively selling call management and recording alongside switches. Rocom is choosing to address this demand by offering their resellers a wide range of solutions including branded products, specifically designed for certain switches, such as Commsoft’s Panasonic branded range of call management and recording products.

“I recently met with Rocom MD Richard Carter and Paul Burn, Reseller Systems Manager, at their offices and there is a real sense of enthusiasm and dynamism at Rocom,” says Bonnie Church. “Working in partnership with Rocom, we can offer great products to their resellers with unrivalled features that they cannot get from other products. The Panasonic branded range, including Panastat and PVR (Panasonic Voice Recording) offers great margins to Rocom dealers and we provide full support and back up to Rocom in all of their promotional activities. Together, we plan to run series of dealer days, to show Rocom resellers what is available to them in terms of product features and benefits. Rocom resellers can also benefit from support in terms of quotation or demonstration assistance plus marketing support to maximise the sales opportunities from their customer database.”

Richard Carter, MD of Rocom says, “For us, the Commsoft product offerings are enhanced by Panasonic branding: the branded call management and recording products are a natural sale with a Panasonic switch. Our Panasonic channel is growing all the time and these additional products add value for our resellers. I am looking forward to even more growth in this area with the addition of PVR”, he adds.
