Rocom head North of the Border with Avaya

Distributor Rocom has announced their first 2009 Avaya vertical workshop focussed on the Education Sector. The workshop, held at Stirling Castle on 26th February, follows successful events held in Wetherby, Guildford and Welwyn Garden City.

The event brings together vendors and end-user vertical market experts, and aims to help resellers gain a better understanding of end-user ICT needs and how these can be addressed with Avaya to secure new business. NMS Adaptive will also be demonstrating how their systems can be tailored to suit the needs of the education market.

An industry expert will provide a detailed breakdown of the Scottish education sector funding model, buying processes and an overview of common “pain points” encountered by dealers who operate in the region.

Kevin Harrison, Head of Rocom’s Avaya Business Unit commented: “We have been really encouraged with the feedback from our first series of Education Workshops and are looking forward to hosting our event in Scotland. We’ve been committed to supporting our Avaya dealers in Scotland from day one and we plan to keep on offering them all the back-up and help we can.”

Rob Wiles, Distribution Account Director for Avaya, commented: “Central to the success of Intelligent Communications is understanding the challenges faced by your customer. Better vertical marketing skills help you understand, engage and communicate the right solutions for their requirements. Avaya's range of Intelligent Communication systems provide powerful and compelling benefits for each and every vertical, enabling resellers to help their customers achieve superior results and gain competitive advantage.”
