Rocom Partnership with Camrivox Simplifies VoIP to Boost Reseller Margins

Rocom has announced a new supplier relationship with Camrivox, a manufacturer of VoIP IP phones, which sees the expansion of its Radius range to include Camrivox’s technologically advanced IP Phone.

Camrivox has granted Rocom exclusive rights to re-brand its Flexor 500 IP phone under Rocom’s own-brand Radius banner, as well as to distribute the original Camrivox-branded phones to established customers and resellers.

So far, many resellers have struggled to make profitable VoIP sales, as installation is difficult and the support burden can hit margins. Camrivox’s Flexor phone solves this problem, with its “zero touch” provisioning removing any need for user set-up, and making the installation and roll-out as easy as possible.

Malcolm Wood, Camrivox CEO said, “It’s a privilege to work with one of the industry’s leading telecoms innovators, especially one with such devotion to VoIP integration. I am confident that sales of our next generation IP phone will excel in Rocom’s care.

The exciting thing about the Flexor 500 is that it ‘smashes the mould’ by including CTI as standard, for example advanced features to work with Microsoft Outlook.”

Paul Burn, Reseller Systems Manager at Rocom added, “This is an exciting opportunity: Camrivox are currently working with top system suppliers to carry out compatibility testing. Early indications are promising and I believe we’ll be announcing the first system partnership very soon.

Our joint intention is to roll out testing across all supplier brands so that our resellers can enjoy the benefits of selling this powerful, feature-rich IP phone at a lower cost point than similar products on the market.”

Rocom and Camrivox’s say their combined vision is to make Internet telephony simple for both service provider and end user.
