Rocom is enjoying impressive early success in raising interest and awareness in hosted telephony after setting up a partnership with a market leader. Rocom Network Services recently held a joint webinar with hosted telephony supplier Inclarity – and it proved a resounding triumph.
Lee Williams, Rocom’s Network Services Director, says hosted telephony is playing an increasingly important role for Rocom, and also its sister company Nimans.
He explained: “Market research indicates that in 2008 34% of dealers reported competition from a hosted solution but in 2009 this had grown to 79%. We have now teamed up with Inclarity to offer resellers a full support and service proposition, to enable them to capitalise on this rapidly growing market.”
Lee added: “A webinar invitation was sent to the whole Rocom base to inform resellers of the benefits of hosted telephony and to outline the many advantages of the Inclarity service. The response was fantastic with 34 resellers attending the webinar which lasted for around an hour. More than 20 questions were also put forward. Both Rocom and Inclarity were thrilled with the response and the follow on requests for more information and leads has been constant ever since.”
Rocom and Nimans can offer customers full support with hosted solutions, as Lee concluded: “Hosted telephony is going to play an increasingly important role in the communication industry.
