Rocom Rewards Dealers With Trip to South Africa

Voice and data telecoms distributor Rocom, is finalising plans to take resellers to South Africa. The trip, which will take place 9 – 12 October 2008, comes hard on the heels of the company’s recent Distributor of the Year Award win and substantial portfolio launch - which demonstrate Rocom’s growing profile and customer commitment.

Rocom’s Managing Director, Richard Carter said: “The trip is a thank you to our resellers for their continuous business and loyalty throughout 2008, any reseller that reaches their targets this year will be eligible. A number of our top supplier brands, namely BT, Panasonic, Polycom, Plantronics, Nortel, Aastra, Avaya, BTIPS and Cable & Wireless have already lent their support by committing to send key representatives. Our 100% Reseller focus is as much about learning about (and from) our suppliers and resellers, as it is about providing good service. This incentive will give us the opportunity to get to know our resellers and suppliers better, and as a result, enable us to further improve our support to them.”

The trip offers four days and three nights of relaxation and entertainment, with accommodation at the ‘Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa’ – one of the leading small hotels of the world. It offers majestic mountain views; and images of the sun setting on breeching whales, playful dolphins and crashing Atlantic rollers. Guests will be able to walk the wilderness trails to Table Mountain National Park. The luxury five-star boutique hotel is just a few minutes from Cape Town which boasts City-centre theatres and art galleries, plus the shops and restaurants of the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The elegant town of Camps Bay is also in close proximity with its beautiful golden beaches. Or, if resellers prefer adventure, they can try deep-sea fishing, shark and scuba diving, or whale watching.

Steve Milner, Plantronics’ UK Sales Representative said: “Plantronics wholeheartedly support this move. Rocom is our largest distributor of headsets in the UK, and as such, manages some of our top resellers. Their continued efforts to build relationships with resellers and suppliers alike are to be applauded.”
