Exertis Micro-P has announced that a former BlackBerry executive has joined its mobile team. Nick Rumsby has joined Exertis Micro-P as Business Manager for Samsung Mobile, bringing his expertise in this area from Canadian firm, BlackBerry, to the Exertis Micro-P channel.
Rumsby is tasked with supporting the Samsung Mobile sales team through to supply and purchasing plus stock management, reporting directly to Ewan Davies, Head of Mobile Devices at Exertis Micro-P. Rumsby intends to help push Samsung sales higher with tighter integration of resources and increased focus on the marketplace.
Commenting on his move, Rumsby stated: “I am very pleased to have joined the Exertis Micro-P team; it’s a great fit for my skills and experience, and everyone has been very welcoming. I hope to add to the wealth of expertise here at Exertis Micro-P and to increase sales of Samsung’s mobile devices across the channel.”
