Sabio, a specialist contact centre and unified communications systems integrator, has announced a partnership with Gamma Telecom, one of the UK’s largest providers of IP telephony services.
Under the agreement, Sabio’s Network Services operation will integrate Gamma’s market-leading SIP trunking services with Avaya’s comprehensive IP telephony platforms to provide customers with an end-to-end approach to optimising their telephony systems and services with SIP technology.
As a Sabio Network Services partner, Gamma Telecom will provide a comprehensive IP access and SIP trunking capability, enabling Sabio to offer customers a fully integrated enterprise telephony service backed by the highest levels of availability and service level guarantees. Sabio Network Services will also take advantage of Gamma Telecom’s SIP trunking solutions to deliver a range of additional service benefits including flexible numbering, number portability, multi-site support, free calls between IP sites, full business continuity and emergency services support.
“As a trusted contact centre and unified communications partner to many of the UK’s leading businesses, Sabio is well placed to support organisations as they look to optimise their enterprise telephony performance,” commented Richard Bligh, Marketing Director at Gamma Telecom. “Sabio’s proven contact centre technology and UC expertise will help them add significant value to Gamma’s SIP trunking solutions – not just through unlocking cost savings for customers, but also in opening up the organisational benefits that can be achieved when the traditional link between numbering and location is broken.”
“With its clear channel focus, Gamma is an ideal IP networking partner for Sabio and will play an important role in supporting the development of our Sabio Network Services business,” added Sabio’s Head of Network Services, Brian Hull. “In an increasingly competitive market, Gamma Telecom supports us with both attractive pricing and the highest quality IP network performance, allowing Sabio Network Services to offer a portfolio of business-ready SIP trunking solutions while still protecting our customers from the operational complexity of SIP solutions deployment. Gamma will also help Sabio to add value to our Network Services offering through a growing portfolio of web-based capabilities that speed up our telecommunications provisioning, ensure highly accurate and up-to-date billing data, and combine to minimise our network services delivery overheads.”
Working with Sabio Network Services, organisations can realise significant cost savings by centralising their telephony services and using a single PBX/ACD to support their entire enterprise. Cost benefits are realised through inter-site call traffic being routed across the data network, and by only operating a single platform to administer, maintain and upgrade all IP telephony activities.
In addition to the organisational flexibility and cost savings that result from more efficient IP telephony deployment and line rationalisation, Sabio Network Services will also leverage the company’s proven Avaya applications skills to unlock further communications benefits by designing, delivering and supporting voice applications across Avaya IP telephony infrastructures. These include solutions such as call recording, presence, screen pops and click-to-dial, that can be deployed cost-effectively and then pushed out across the network to any user in any location.
