Avaya has selected customer contact technology specialist Sabio as its Partner of the Year. Sabio was presented with the award, which recognises the partner organisation that has delivered the greatest, end-to-end contribution over the previous year, at Avaya’s Annual Partner Event held last week at London’s Cumberland Hotel.
“Our Avaya Connect programme helps put partners right at the heart of our proposition, and we’re delighted to recognise Sabio as our Partner of the Year and celebrate the company’s important contribution to our ongoing success,” commented Simon Culmer, Avaya’s UK and Ireland Managing Director. “Winning this award of course depends on a strong sales performance, however Sabio went beyond this to deliver across all aspects of their Avaya partnership, from initial sales and marketing and opportunity development through to solutions delivery and ongoing support. We look forward to an even stronger performance in 2014.”

It’s an approach that’s working well, and last year we significantly outperformed our Avaya Connect Platinum Partner sales targets. Over the previous three years we have grown our Avaya revenues by more than 50%, with a particular emphasis on helping organisations take advantage of Avaya technology to run their operations more efficiently.
“At Sabio we find that we can best support our customers by operating as an extension of Avaya’s activities, adding value through programmes such as our best practice ‘Award Winning Contact Centre’ events and thought leadership initiatives like our successful joint research project looking at key security issues in contact centres,” he added. “Serving as a member of Avaya’s Partner Advisory Council also ensures that Sabio contributes actively to Avaya’s product development and service delivery strategy. This year, for example, Sabio’s experts contributed articles on future trends and security frustrations to Avaya’s major ‘Managing the Customer Experience’ guide.
