TeleWare has announced the promotion of Brian Myers to the position of Sales Director, heading up its ‘high touch’ team of sales professionals and technical sales specialists. The move consolidates TeleWare’s sales and presales teams as the company looks to continue its recent major successes, particularly in the mobile space.
Over the last few months, TeleWare has launched the first of its new MVNO products. Not only have these generated a lot of interest in the market, the company says it has won significant new business, notably from financial sector organisations.
“Brian has been instrumental in our penetration of new accounts, particularly financial firms seeking to meet the recent requirements for the recording of mobile phone conversations in line with the Financial Services Authority’s regulations,” said Steve Haworth, CEO of the TeleWare Group. “We are delighted that Brian has agreed to take on the role of Sales Director at this very exciting time for our business”, added Haworth.

Myers, who most recently held the post of Director, Business Development at TeleWare, is a veteran of the telecoms industry. He learnt his trade at BT where he spent over 30 years, starting as a young engineer. Brian held a number of senior posts at BT, including Director of Partnerships and Business Development in BT Retail, Major Business. He held a number of Directorships prior to joining TeleWare in 2009.
