Samsung and Braxtel Communications Announce Joint Venture

Samsung Electronics and Braxtel Communications have announced the release date of a new Contact Centre solution, Contact Q which fully integrates with the new Ubigate platform from Samsung.

The pair say this is exciting news for existing Samsung resellers and also for new IT/Telecoms companies and specialised Call Centre resellers who are looking for a cost effective solution.

The UK release is targeted to be 1st October 2010 and the companies claim it will immediately provide a number of distinct benefits to channel partners and end user customers who are looking for ‘a robust networking solution with world class applications which are designed to be fully channel ready and at a low cost for customers’. The solution is specifically designed to bring full Call Centre functionality to any legacy PBX without the need for expensive upgrades.

With 13 years of Enterprise Contact Centre experience Braxtel has developed the Contact Q product to answer the needs of the SMB customer. By integrating Contact Q with the Samsung Ubigate, the product can be delivered as a turnkey solution that can be added to any existing PBX system.

Nick Thwaites, CEO of Braxtel Communications, said: “We are excited about the release of Contact Q with the Samsung Ubigate. We have invested time in ensuring we are delivering a powerful Contact Centre feature set that can both attack the established brands with the reliability of Samsung behind it and provide the service at a competitive price”

Paul Templeton, General Manager of Samsung adds, "This unique proposition is made possible by the very flexible and advanced SIP functionality of the Ubigate system. Ubigate delivers a robust and fully featured SIP to ISDN Gateway, enabling Contact Q to add a sophisticated call centre capability to any PBX.”
