Samsung Electronics has announced that resellers, Faxco Ltd, and Blackbox Solutions, were this year’s big winners at FutureScape 2015 – Samsung’s annual showcase event focusing on the latest innovations and real life solutions in mobile workforce technologies – taking away three awards between them. Faxco Ltd lifted the New Partner of the Year and Scottish Print Partner of the Year awards, whilst Blackbox Solutions took home the Smart Print Partner of the Year award.
“It’s fantastic to see two new partners making such a big impact, the awards are really deserved,” said Mark Ash, Head of Print, Samsung. “Both Faxco and Blackbox Solutions have been working with us for around two years and have highlighted what can be achieved with a little bit of passion and hard work. I’m sure that the results that they have been getting by fully embracing our ethos, will spur our other partners on.”
Faxco Ltd, who took home two awards at FutureScape, initially engaged with Samsung Print two years ago and has grown from a traditional photocopier supplier to one of Samsung’s most promising partners. The New Partner of the Year and Scottish Print Partner of the Year award winner, made the decision to truly embrace Samsung’s Connected Workplace vision in February 2015, and has enjoyed a rapid growth with over 400 A3 printer placements this year including 210 Android powered MX4 products. Working strategically with Samsung throughout 2015, Faxco Ltd has already enjoyed much success and helped many customers become more connected.
Phil Genoe, Managing Director and Founder of Faxco Ltd said, “The past two years working with Samsung has been brilliant and to be named its New Partner of the Year and Scottish Print Partner of the Year is really amazing. Focussing on the new MX4/MX7 Series was an easy decision for us as the devices are very desirable. For us and our customers, the Android platform has been a game changer as it brings together total integration and connectivity to future products including phones, tablets and other office devices. We are fully behind and understand Samsung’s Connected Workplace vision and are looking forward to finding out what the next two years working with Samsung brings.”
Blackbox Solutions, the winners of this year’s Smart Print Partner award, has been working with Samsung for less than two years as its sole business partner for Managed Print Solutions. Having built its business around the principle of giving its clients the highest standards of experience and care, backed by 12 administration, solution and technical specialists, the company has gone from a turnover of zero to £1.6m in 18 months. Although not Blackbox Solutions’ lead product, they have fully embraced the MX series Android technology, to help them to separate themselves from the local competition. The Smart Print Partner of the Year continues to embrace the Samsung Smart Print Philosophy and has already had over 100 MX4 installations and a dozen MX7 sales this year.
Colin Griffin, Managing Director at Blackbox Solutions, said: “We are delighted to have been named Samsung Electronics’ Smart Print Partner of the Year. Through our partnership with Samsung Electronics we are able to provide our customers with the highest quality range of multi-functional devices, which we underpin with the highest quality customer care and support.”
“It is this combination of the very best in products and delivery that has allowed us to double in size each year since launching in 2012 and expand across the South East. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Samsung Electronics for many years to come.”
