The Samsung Galaxy S II is now in store and available on Available on Google’s Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), this handset offers access to more than 200 thousand apps via Android’s Marketplace, plus a whole host of new features not available on previous Android operating systems, including faster, more intuitive text input, and internet calling.

The Samsung Galaxy SII is also future-proof for near-field communication (NFC) technology, which lets you interact with NFC tags at restaurants, stores, events and more. It features Full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities that can be played directly on a laptop thanks to Samsung’s wireless sync functionality, Kies Air.

PAYG customers can enjoy the Samsung Galaxy S II for £499.99. All in One 15 costs £15 and gives 30-days access to all-you-can-eat data along with 300 any-network minutes and 3,000 texts. Or All in One 25 costs £25 and offers 500 minutes, 3,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data for a 30-day period.
