SAP unveils new innovations at Sapphire Now conference

SAP has announced a number of new innovations at the company’s annual Sapphire Now conference, which was held remotely for the second time due to the ongoing pandemic. The new products were SAP Process Insights, Verify, SAP Upscale Commerce, and improvements to SAP Analytics Cloud.

The SAP Process Insights solution enables organisations to analyse and improve their real-world business processes. EY, Deloitte and Infosys Limited are the initial strategic partners working with the BPI portfolio from SAP to help organisations transform.

Verify, a SAP Concur feature, uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to simplify expense auditing. This means potential expense report issues and anomalies are automatically identified. Verify can approve expense reports that have no issues while flagging anomalies for auditors to review.

The SAP Upscale Commerce solution is an online commerce no-code solution aimed at the retail sector. Midmarket retailers can create an omnichannel shopping experiences in minutes, with retailers able to provide customers real-time information about their purchase and delivery through any channel.

Finally, the company shared details of new workforce analytics and planning capabilities within the SAP Analytics Cloud solution, which can also now be integrated with SAP SuccessFactors. This improvements link operational, financial and people data to give organisations more comprehensive insights into their workforce.

Also at the conference, SAP has unveiled the SAP Business Network, a new business community that looks to improve business outcomes, navigate changing economic and geopolitical conditions and enhance sustainability contributions. The community brings together Ariba Network, SAP Logistics Business Network and SAP Asset Intelligence Network.
