Sarian & Hugh Symons Team Up to Meet Businesses' Critical Communications Needs

Mission-critical communications specialist Sarian Systems today announced a new partnership with Hugh Symons Communications to provide both resellers and end-users with wired and wireless enterprise routers designed for communications that are vital to businesses' day-to-day operations.

Hugh Symons Communications, a multi-network mobile distributor, can now provide its base of more than 4,000 resellers with Sarian's DR6000 series product range, which offers ADSL broadband and the option of high-speed mobile backup, as well as the HR4110 mobile router, the world's first HSDPA (also know as 'mobile broadband') router especially designed for business use.

Hugh Symons will offer resellers pre- and post-sales technical support for the Sarian products, which can provide users with critical communications even in remote locations where installing a fixed line is not possible. Both the wireless and combination products can be supplied with or without mobile operator airtime, helping resellers to develop a complete solution for end-users.

In addition, Hugh Symons now offers Sarian solutions direct to end-users through its devicewire website. This allows organisations to securely purchase the products online, while benefiting from Hugh Symons' simple, independent and professional advice on sourcing and managing airtime. Hugh Symons can also provide a variety of different tariff solutions to suit specific end-user needs, while devicewire's price match promise ensures that the Sarian products are available to end-users at the most competitive price.

"Hugh Symons offers partners and customers a wealth of IT and communications knowledge and expertise, and through this agreement with Sarian, it will now be able to provide a solution to meet the specific and exacting needs of companies which rely totally on communications in order to do business," said Duncan Ellison, sales and marketing director at Sarian. "As Hugh Symons is not only a distributor for hardware vendors, but also for telecoms providers, it can also provide extra value for customers by including wireless backup in the package."

"Sarian's enterprise class routers, combined with tailored airtime tariffs from providers such as O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone, mean that we can now offer the most reliable and effective critical communications package on the market," said Marios Ktisti, commercial product manager at Hugh Symons. "Furthermore, the ability to purchase the Sarian product online extends our reach to both to resellers and end-users, and we expect many of our existing partners to take advantage of the new offering."
