SBL today announced the launch of Qunifi, a new set of cloud-based product offerings. Qunifi specialises in the design, build and management of hosted infrastructure to allow organisations to take advantage of Unified Communications product offerings and achieve strong competitive advantage by transitioning their telephony and communications operations into the cloud at affordable low on-costs.
The first Qunifi product to be offered is the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OpenTouch Enterprise Cloud (OTEC), a flexible Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution based on a ‘occupancy-based’ pricing model that allows organisations to scale their costs up or down relative to business revenue and seasonal peaks. SBL is the first provider of OTEC to the UK market and its Qunifi customers and users will benefit from SBL’s 10 years of experience in business telephony by receiving in-house professional support from delivery, to implementation and management.
“The launch of Qunifi follows SBL’s extensive growth over the last 12 months and addresses the market demand for bespoke, consumption-based cloud solutions. Customers can rely on the scalability, protection and security of cloud-based business telephony and unified communications products to deliver the strongest possible returns on investment,” said Chris Brassington, CEO at SBL. “Qunifi’s cloud telephony, unified communications and managed services will sit alongside the maintenance and hardware divisions of SBL, as the company continues its commitment to offering industry-leading integrated voice and data communications systems.”
“We are very pleased that the first product launch in SBL’s Qunifi range will be based on OTEC,” commented Gerry de Graaf, Vice President North, West and East Europe, at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. “Qunifi allows users across a wide range of education, hospitality and retail markets to painlessly take advantage of major new low-cost Opex developments in unified communications and business telephony, while drawing on the experience and technical capabilities of SBL’s specialist Qunifi team to maximise return on investment.”
