ScanSource, the US distributor that bought UK distributor MTV Telecom last April has advanced their plans to grow the company and establish a larger European foothold.
One immediate effect of their decision has seen Martin Hatcher, founder of MTV Telecom leave the company last Friday. Hatcher had been expected to leave on the anniversary of the sale at the end of March.
At the same time Managing Director Natalie Foers has also left the company.
Hatcher formed MTV Telecom in 1989 following a short period out of the channel subsequent to the sale of his previous company TVC General Telephone. MTV has established a loyal reseller base and were in the vanguard of the voice and data integration market.
Presently the MTV Telecom is being directly managed from their European HQ in Brussels until a new UK chief is identified and appointed.
