ScanSource not put off by Weather

Following the success of October’s Avaya Information Meeting in Reading, ScanSource Communications ran further events this month in Manchester and Livingston, Scotland. Around 20 resellers joined ScanSource and Avaya representatives at both events to get a broad overview of the Avaya portfolio available from ScanSource Communications in the UK.

Avaya Data solutions and Avaya Flare video solutions, recent additions to the ScanSource offering, were covered along with talks that outlined the benefits of the ACM market and encouraged resellers specialising in the SME-oriented IP Office market to provide solutions to larger Enterprise end-users.

Also featured at the event was the new, internally designed Avaya IP Office Designer. ScanSource explained the advantages to resellers of being able to use the Designer as a configuration and verification tool as well as a demonstration tool when at an end-user’s premises.

“We are looking to help and support resellers that want to move into the Enterprise space, but we are very much aware that the IP Office space still offers plenty of opportunities,” said Kim Jennings, Sales Manager, ScanSource Communications Europe. “The IP Office Designer is proof of that, but we do see the potential and willingness of certain resellers to expand their portfolio, and we are in a very strong position to drive that growth.”

“Our company has been looking at growth opportunities with Ayava solutions for a while now,” said Jon Carr, Telecoms Manger, Highlander IT & Telecoms. “It can be difficult to know where to begin on the process at times but following ScanSource’s growth plan and taking advantage of the expertise, resources and support it is able to offer resellers is making it easy and effective.”
