ScanSource Online Ordering

ScanSource Communications Europe has announced the launch of an online system enabling resellers to browse products and solutions, look up part numbers, place new orders and track shipments and invoices for current and past orders. The tool is available to resellers who have an account with the value added distributor and gives access to full stock visibility and price information.

Available round the clock, the online system is aimed at the reseller who needs full access to stock outside of normal working hours, who wants to put an order through when working late, or who wants to be able to quickly check information on past order invoices or track shipments at any time.

ScanSource Communications Europe has recently expanded its sales team to enhance its pre-sales support, advice and service levels for resellers calling over the phone, while ScanSource’s team of field sales people across the UK can use their in-depth market knowledge to gauge reseller needs, offer tailored advice and training, and organise events to bring the channel closer together.

Resellers looking for instant stock availability of Avaya, ShoreTel, Panasonic, Extreme or Plantronics products from ScanSource Communications Europe can now consult the online system. To access the tool, resellers should contact their ScanSource for an account number and password.

As well as being able to check up-to-the-minute stock availability it has also increased our operational flexibility. Late last Friday evening I realised we had not placed an IP Office order we needed for install the following week. We logged on, placed the order and received the equipment on time for our customer.”
