ScanSource POS and Barcode has signed an agreement with Ruckus Wireless to act as a Pan European value-added distributor for Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi products and technology. The new partnership strengthens ScanSource’s offering of complete solutions in the fast-expanding wireless networking and mobile data markets.
The increased adoption and use of mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets and laptop computers, is creating significant opportunities for resellers, as they look to deliver scalable, secure, reliable solutions to meet their end-user customers’ needs. ScanSource provides resellers with access to Ruckus ZoneFlex indoor and outdoor access points, and best-in-class ZoneDirector controllers, software and services. ScanSource also provides education and training, pre-sale support, technical support, and marketing assistance, among other services, to support resellers in offering these Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi solutions to their end-user customers.
The expansion of the Ruckus relationship in Europe builds on the already-successful alliance between ScanSource and Ruckus in North America. “Ruckus manufactures high-quality wireless solutions that enable our resellers to fulfil growing end-user demand in a variety of vertical markets,” said Maurice van Rijn, managing director, ScanSource POS and Barcode, Europe. “We look forward to providing these solutions to our reseller partners, along with the value-added services and tools that can help them grow and enhance their business.”
“ScanSource brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in distributing mobility, point-of-sale and barcode solutions to Ruckus,” said James Calderbank, sales director for Ruckus EMEA. “This new relationship will make it easier for specialists in the retail, warehousing and logistics space to integrate Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi technology into their solutions.”
