ScanSource Wins Channel Enablement Award

ScanSource has been honoured with the ‘Indirect Sales Enablement’ award from Showpad at their Sales & Marketing (SAM) Excellence Awards this month. The SAM Excellence Awards recognise teams that push boundaries and explore the limits of sales and marketing alignment.

Showpad is a sales enablement platform which delivers contextual content to sales teams and channel partners to enable them to sell anywhere and anytime. It provides an understanding of content usage and productivity to align sales and marketing efforts toward revenue goals. The award aims to recognise the most successful users of their platform.

With ScanSource’s Showpad tool, resellers have access to valuable content from ScanSource’s manufacturer partners, including product data sheets, presentations and videos. The multimedia content is available in pdf documents, PowerPoint presentations and videos, enabling the reseller to more efficiently share materials on-site with the end user during the sales process.

Maurice Van Rijn (pictured), named President of ScanSource POS and Barcode Europe in early September, received the award at the Showtime 2015 Conference ceremony, hosted in Belgium and attended by 300 people. “We are extremely grateful for this award which recognises our ongoing efforts to offer valuable sales support and make a sustainable business impact,” said Maurice upon receiving the award. ScanSource was also named as a finalist in the ‘ROI and Business Impact’ category.

The panel saw entries from high-level and quality finalists, who were shortlisted for demonstrating a measurable business impact. “We were delighted to see so many strong finalists. It is always exciting to see the way that each business uses Showpad to do new things and improve the work of sales and marketing teams,” said Showpad's co-CEO, Louis Jonckheere. “Each has proven that they work hard to achieve innovation, business growth and competitive advantage”.
