Senior Appointment at NG Bailey

Scott Nursten has been announced as the new systems integration director for Bailey Teswaine, the cabling, ICT and managed services division of NG Bailey. Nursten is to step into this senior management role immediately, having worked closely with Bailey Teswaine since December 2007 when his own business, secure systems integrator s2s, was acquired by the organisation.

Nursten formed s2s in 2000 and will continue as managing director of this company. In his new role, he will be responsible for co-ordinating the successful launch of an integrated systems offering across all businesses that constitute the ICT division of NG Bailey. Working closely with sales, marketing and operations, Nursten will develop propositions that will bring together the strengths of each business in the division, increasing the market influence of the entire Group.

Tony Henderson, managing director of Bailey Teswaine, says, “We are all pleased that Scott is joining Bailey Teswaine’s senior management team. Scott’s role will involve pulling together the current offerings of our several ICT businesses into one significant force that will really push NG Bailey forward into a new and exciting era of growth.” Tony continues, “Scott’s direction in these new business developments will help to establish our position in the market as a strong systems integrator, supporting our strategy as a business at a divisional level.”

Commenting on his new role, Nursten says, “I’m very happy to be joining the senior management team at Bailey Teswaine. Since s2s became an NG Bailey company in 2007, we’ve all worked to harmonise s2s operational elements with those of our parent organisation.” Nursten concludes, “We are now at a position where we are ready to approach the market with a complete offering which includes secure systems integration. I’m looking forward to helping to drive the business forward and contributing to the Group’s overall business strategy.
