Sennheiser Communications has enjoyed success at the Red Dot design awards, with Sennheiser's recently launched Century headset winning one of the coveted awards. Specifically created for professional use in the office or call centre, where best audio quality is required, the Century headset impressed the jury of experts with its attractive, comfortable design and productivity enhancing features.

The jury commented, "The simple and elegant design of this headset is well-conceived and from every viewpoint is oriented towards comfortable, professional applications." The Red Dot design awards are established internationally as one of the most appreciated seals of quality for outstanding design. The awards dates back to the 1950s and are carried out in three disciplines: product design, communication design and design concept.

Crafted by Sennheiser engineers to withstand the rigours of the toughest contact centre or office, Century series headsets are designed for quality-conscious enterprises requiring high definition speech clarity and hearing intelligibility, durability and all-day wearing comfort. The use of high quality materials such as stainless steel hinges, brushed aluminium parts and Kevlar cables ensures maximum durability and low total cost of ownership.

Commenting on the Red Dot award Jane Craven, Director of Sales for Sennheiser UK Telecoms stated, "We're delighted to have won the prestigious Red Dot award for the Century series of premium crafted headsets. The Century series combines sound quality, wearing comfort and durability in a sleek and iconic design making it the perfect tool for contact centres and office professionals."
