Sennheiser Communications announced that two new headsets in their wired Circle Series are compliant with key collaboration solutions from Avaya software and services.

The Circle Series of headsets is designed to meet the needs of enterprise professionals by improving efficiency and creating comfortable working environments. The two additions to the range, the SC 260 and the SC 230, have been compliance tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya 1600 and 9600 Series IP Deskphones, Avaya one-X® Communicator and Avaya one-X® Agent softphone.

With user efficiency at the heart of their design, the new dual-sided SC 260 and the single-sided SC 230 are working tools aimed at professionals who require Sennheiser HD voice clarity and call control. With compliance-testing complete, Avaya enterprise users can enjoy using Sennheiser’s durable and comfortable headsets to collaborate faster and drive better business results.

Built to last, and designed for comfort, the new wired Circle Series is made for relaxed all-day wearing. Features include Sennheiser HD sound for a natural listening experience, ActiveGard™ hearing protection technology and a noise-canceling microphone for optimum speech clarity.

“Membership in the Avaya DevConnect program provides a unique opportunity to offer our joint customers a rich communications experience based on a tested and compatible solution,” says Lars Riis Rasmussen, Strategic Alliance Manager for Sennheiser Communications. “Being a central element in a voice communications solution, the Sennheiser Communications headsets provide leadership in sound quality, comfort and hearing protection for Contact Centers, Offices and Unified Communications professionals.”

Sennheiser Communications is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.

As a Technology Partner, Sennheiser Communications is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.

“Technology Partners like Sennheiser are helping Avaya provide customers with increased choice of productivity enhancing communications tools in the enterprise space,” said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations, Avaya. “Sennheiser headsets bring sound quality and comfort to enterprise professionals.”
