MSPs
Sennheiser Communications has appointed Jane Craven as Director of Sales and Marketing for Sennheiser UK Telecoms. In her new role Jane will oversee the continued growth of the Telecoms Division through its channel distribution sales model. Prior to joining Sennheiser Jane was Head of Corporate Sales for Rocom, the enterprise comms supplier, which is the largest headset reseller in the UK.

This is the first Director level appointment for the Sennheiser UK Professional Telecoms division, and will see Jane working alongside Directors of Sennheiser UK's Consumer Audio and Professional Audio divisions. Jane's appointment confirms the growing importance the company attaches to the huge potential of the business headset market. She will use her high-level contacts in the enterprise sector to assist the Sennheiser sales team in identifying corporate sales opportunities, which can be fulfilled by Sennheiser resellers.

This appointment also reflects the growing strength of the Sennheiser brand within the telecoms sector, with Sennheiser Communications recently reporting over 30 per cent global growth from 2010/11 and the UK reporting significantly higher local results for the same period. The Sennheiser Communications division is benefitting from innovative developments such as the Circle Line series of wired headsets and the DW wireless headset series.

Commenting on her new role Jane said, "My joining the Sennheiser UK Senior Management Team demonstrates the strength of commitment Sennheiser UK has for the business headset market. Business headset use is no longer confined to call centre agents. As terminal devices proliferate, headset attach rates will soar and soon all business users will have a headset. I will work on higher level positioning with our distributors and resellers to ensure a significant market share for the Sennheiser brand."
