Nimans say they have reinforced their reputation as the country’s leading telecommunications distributor by securing another prestigious industry accolade.
For the first time the Manchester company has been named Distributor of the Year by manufacturer Siemens for its levels of customer care, business growth and business quality.
Chief Executive Julian Niman was presented with a commemorative glass plaque at a special awards ceremony held at the company’s flagship headquarters by Siemens’ National Sales Manager Mick Morgan.
“This latest award further enhances our market-leading reputation and reflects the continued progression of the whole business,” explained Julian who paid tribute to the entire Nimans workforce by adding: “This was a true team effort. In addition to the dedication and commitment of the sales force – led by Phone Systems Sales Manager Phil Adams along with Siemens Product Specialist Paul Michael Walker, if everybody else did not perform to the highest standards and match the team’s exceptional performance, we would not get the recognition that this new award further illustrates”.
He continued: “This is the first time we have been awarded this title and it represents a major coup for us. It is based not only on business growth but also business quality and customer care, so as such reflects many aspects of our business and reinforces our key philosophy of always putting the customer first.”
In addition to the main award, officially announced at the Siemens’ annual conference at Telford, Nimans has also qualified to take part in a Siemens car race day and visit to Lapland early next year.
