ShoreTel Moves HQ to Bracknell

ShoreTel has announced the relocation of its European headquarters to larger premises in Bracknell. The move from White Waltham, Maidenhead to Inspired, Easthampstead Road, in Bracknell reflects the company’s continued growth and success in the European market, and is designed to better serve its rapidly growing partner and customer community.

ShoreTel’s new UK headquarters were officially opened by Dr. Phillip Lee, MP for Bracknell, last week. With the growth of the business the company outgrew its previous facilities. The ShoreTel leadership team then engaged with its partners and customers to discuss how the new space could best benefit all parties. The feedback was used to both decide on the new location and to influence the design of the new headquarters, and as a result the facility doubles ShoreTel’s current floor space, in addition to equipping the company with an advanced technology demonstration suite and enhanced IT infrastructure. ShoreTel’s extensive European partner base will be further catered for with improved transport links to London, Reading and Heathrow.

Dr. Lee MP said, “I am really pleased to have been asked to cut the ribbon for ShoreTel’s new office in Bracknell. With its strong local economy, highly-skilled workforce and excellent communication links, Bracknell is a hub for multinational technology and software companies. It is fantastic that ShoreTel recognises this and has chosen to locate their new premises here and I wish them every success in the future.”

Adrian Hipkiss, ‎vice president and managing director of EMEA at ShoreTel said, “ShoreTel EMEA has reached a very exciting stage in its growth. The move to new, larger premises in Bracknell will allow us to better serve our customers and partners and up the tempo of our commercial activities as a result.”

He added, “Bracknell is fast becoming a hotspot for growing technology companies, and we felt that the area, the new facility and its excellent transport links reflect our ambition to further grow and expand our European business. We will also be looking to seek a degree of local recruitment for our back-office facilities and hope that ShoreTel can give back to the Bracknell area.”

The relocation will initially see an increase in ShoreTel’s workforce with an objective of further growth in 2015. The new offices also offer improved lab space for ShoreTel’s technical support team, as well as an improved facility for its solutions architects.
