Simon Bradford Develops Westell Business

Convergence migration specialist Westell has appointed Simon Bradford as Business Development Manager. This position has been created in a response to the growing interest from large enterprise customers aiming to migrate from legacy PBX telephony systems to full IP convergence. Bradford joins the UK Westell team from NextiraOne, Europe’s leading experts in communication services.

Prior to NextiraOne, Bradford headed up the new acquisition sales team at Verizon, where he was in charge of strategic account management and business development. His experience in working with prestigious accounts such as the London Stock Exchange is to be utilised at Westell in his dealings with enterprise customers and their main suppliers, promoting the benefits of the Westell Interchange iQ DPNSS-to-IP Convergence Migration Product lines.

“I’m very much looking forward to working on the Westell business development team and growing its customer base,” explains Bradford. “The IP convergence market is a thirsty one and it’s imperative for us to continue educating enterprise users of the simple steps they can take in their moving over to IP based communication.”

“Simon is set to play a vital role in our response to the increasing demand we’re seeing from larger organisations to migrate from DPNSS-based TDM communications over to IP communications systems,” comments Westell Managing Director, David Mckeigue. “He will work closely with our channel distribution partners such as Westcon/Comstor and VoiceComms Warehouse to educate resellers on the proposition of migrating their customers who currently operate DPNSS PBXs.”

A keen athlete, Bradford enjoys a variety of sports and also enjoys dining in his favourite restaurants. He also has a passion for learning new languages, in particular, Japanese.
