Storacall Voice Systems has just launched its ‘Compact’ range of telephone call recorders, ideal for Hospitals, NHS trusts, Security companies as well as Financial organisations for FSA compliance. The ‘Compact’ recorders have extensive search facilities including date/time, duration, extension/group, CLI, dialled digits, inbound/outbound and ‘tag’ field. The ‘tag’ field support can either be used manually or can be linked via an API to populate the ‘Compact’ database with customer’s desktop CRM package with information such as policy number or client reference number.
The ‘Compact’ has mixed architecture so it can be configured to record analogue, digital or VoIP and a single unit can record any combination of these protocols. It has full password protection allowing the customer to decide who can listen to what calls, as well as a full ‘audit trail’ so users can track when calls have been played and by whom. In addition the systems has several inbuilt alarms, which constantly monitor system functionality and will automatically e-mail the user and if required the Storacall helpdesk if any problems are encountered such as loss of SMDR data from the switch.
