Snom Technology has appointed Fabio Albanini as UK Head of Sales. Already General Manager of Snom Technology Italy and Head of Sales South Europe, Albanini will be working closely with the existing UK team to communicate new products and the launch of Snom’s bolstered partner programme as the business looks to fast-track regional growth.
Albanini said, “The UK has always been a very important market for us and I’m looking forward to working alongside UK Distribution Director Alison Tetlow and Channel Director Brett Kershaw, supporting our customers with technical pre and post-sales support.”
Gernot Sagl, CEO Snom Technology said, “Our goal in the UK is simple – to leverage existing relationships with partners by investing in people and resources. It was very important that we recruit from within the Snom family and Fabio Albanini has been part of the team for more than nine years now. In that time, he has been responsible for developing important partnerships with Telcos, VoIP carriers and the channel, achieving year-on-year sales growth. We’re thrilled to have him on board as he continues to contribute to Snom’s European success.”
Snom launched its new and improved partner programme earlier this year, which offers partners real financial and joint marketing incentives.
The company is now planning the roll-out of several new features, including access to regular updates on sales and technical topics. New partners and distributors will also have the opportunity to take part in free training courses and receive certification.
“As well as offering best-in-class phones, giving our partners access to vital information and resources is a key differentiator in a market where companies need to keep one step ahead by delivering value-added services to customers,” Albanini concludes.
