Wills will be responsible for creating a first class IT applications environment, process infrastructure and operating platform that will enable Solution1 to enhance their proposition for existing and potential customers whilst also allowing the company to continue to grow successfully.
Wills brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge from within the IT and Telecommunications sector. Karl was previously CEO of Abacus, an outsourced managed services company that provided billing operations for telecom carriers and resellers. He managed to successfully achieve 300% increase in turnover and profit over four years and was responsible for a management buy out and eventual sale of the company.

Prior to managing Abacus, Karl was European Solutions Director and Metapack and COO at Redpack. In the latter job he was in charge of the business strategy, investor presentations and general management, as well as designing and managing systems and business processes. Karl is an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of Manchester playing an active role in the strategy department focusing on IT in businesses.
