Raj Pandya, Senior Manager AV Communications at Sony UK, said: “The new structure gives a more dedicated focus to each product, removing some of the silos that previously existed and moving the projectors and plasma products out of our IT channel and into AV. This move better reflects our customers’ needs, and we will be growing as a team to accommodate the changes. I’m really pleased to head up the division and look forward to increasing our market share in the different categories.”
The new AV communications channel team has identified several areas for growth, says Pandya. “Sony IPELA is a strong brand that is understood by customers. We will be targeting small and medium sized enterprises with the IPELA portfolio, and pushing our business projectors and plasma displays in the public sector. It’s an exciting time for the company with great opportunities ahead.”
