Sony Ericsson and Vodafone UK unveil website celebrating new W715

To celebrate the launch of the Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman phone and its ‘Find & Go’ personal satellite navigation system feature, Sony Ericsson and Vodafone UK are introducing The Inside Tracks, an online site which will enable users to take advantage of the Capital as the trend setting, culturally rich musical hub that it is.

The Inside Tracks will comprise bespoke audio packages and customised maps created specifically for London. Composed and narrated by Amy Studt, Zarif and Eliza Doolittle, a trio of cool and beautiful independent singer-songwriters at the cutting edge of Britain’s music scene, these exclusive guides will provide a uniquely personalised insight into the Capital and its locations, whilst revealing a bit more about the artists along the way.

The Find & Go service on the Sony Ericsson Walkman W715 mobile phone helps bring to life The Inside Tracks audio experiences. The Find & Go feature is a personal satellite system, exclusive to Vodafone UK, which allows users to easily navigate and make use of their surroundings via their handset. The turn by turn GPS guidance with 3D maps, and voice instructions that announce street names, will enable people to easily seek out Zarif’s favourite watering hole or the vintage boutique which is the source of Eliza Doolittle’s unique style. Vodafone UK customers will also be able to download these maps direct to their phones at no extra charge.

Dave Hilton, marketing director at Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland, said: “The Inside Tracks is an exciting initiative which will give consumers the chance to really engage with the innovative personal satellite navigation system available on the W715 Walkman phone. By working with three breakthrough music artists, we offer people a glimpse of their side of the Capital and via Vodafone UK’s Find & Go service, allow them to discover London for themselves.”
