Southern Communications Celebrates Double Success

Basingstoke based reseller Southern Communications Limited has demonstrated it's continued success by joining the prestigious Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 list of Britain's best performing private technology companies in addition to winning the NEC Premiere Business Partner Award.

Published annually, the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 measures sales growth over the last 3 financial years to highlight those firms that are out-performing both the market and their competitors. One of only 25 businesses in the South East to appear on the league table, Southern Communications Limited did so by posting a staggering 43% annual sales growth over the 3 year period with an impressive turnover of £7m. The latest survey, published in The Sunday Times on 28 September saw the local telecoms firm rank 81st. The latest success comes just days after the company picked up the richly deserved NEC Premiere Business

Partner Award in recognition of the company's commitment to customer service.

Established since 1965, the company provides over 3,000 customers with a range of telecoms services including business mobile and broadband, phone systems, fixed lines and call charges. Managing Director, Paul Bradford says "This is a fantastic achievement for Southern Communications and a reward for everyone for all their hard work and commitment. It clearly demonstrates not only our fantastic sales growth but also our ability to deliver a valuable service to our clients backed up with an unrivalled level of customer support. With over 40 years experience in the telecoms industry we understand the importance of integrating voice, data and text services to enable our clients to effortlessly link their staff, customers and suppliers.

With such seamless communications our clients are able to make their business easier, more productive and most importantly, more profitable".

Andrew Cooper, NEC Sales Director supports this view by explaining the rationale behind the NEC Premiere Business Partner Award. "I am delighted to recognise the achievement of Southern Communications. Such an award is not achieved by volume of sales alone but more so in recognition of total commitment to both pre and post sales customer support".

With clients across numerous markets including retail, education, not for profit and the legal profession, the company believes it will continue to build on the success, predicting strong growth for the future. Managing Director, Paul Bradford comments "This has been a fantastic year and we intend to build on this success with continued growth as we expand both organically and through acquisitions".
