SpinVox Selected for Membership in Avaya DevConnect Program

SpinVox, the supplier of Voice-to-Screen messaging, has been selected by Avaya for membership in the Avaya DevConnect program. SpinVox is the developer of a voicemail-to-text service, an application that captures the content of a spoken message, converts it to text and sends to any PC, mobile phone or PDA as either an email or text message. As a result, companies can receive their voice messages in text form – they can see what was said and determine how, if and when they want to respond.

The Avaya DevConnect program promotes the development, compliance-testing and co-marketing of innovative third-party products that are compatible with standards-based Avaya solutions. Member organizations have expertise in a broad range of technologies – including IP telephony, contact centers and mobility applications – helping companies extend the value of multivendor networks and transform voice into an intelligent business application that delivers true value to the bottom line.

“Membership in Avaya’s developer community will help us build our business by expanding the availability and application of our voice-to-text services,” said Christina Domecq, CEO of SpinVox. “Building on Avaya resources and working more closely with the company, we will be able to extend our voice-to-text product suite to a previously untapped market of enterprise users, enabling true unified communications by bridging the gap between the voice and data worlds.”
