Spitfire Receives Top Nortel Reseller Status From Crane

Spitfire has achieved top Nortel reseller status for 2005 from Crane Telecommunications. Spitfire, with a customer base mainly within the Greater London region, sold more Nortel BCM phone systems than any other Crane Telecommunications partner.

Spitfire also recently received official sales accreditation from Nortel for the Business Communications Manager. The BCM range includes the new BCM50 system which is designed to give smaller businesses - with as few as three staff members - low cost, secure, advanced communication services such as Internet telephony and online multimedia applications that allow employees to collaborate regardless of location.

Commenting on Spitfire’s top reseller status, Andrew Saunders, Nortel Business Unit Managing Director for Crane Telecommunications said, “Although 2005 was the first full year that Spitfire has been selling Nortel BCM systems supplied by Crane, they have succeeded in hitting the number one spot for sales. From a standing start this is a terrific achievement and reflects Spitfire’s commitment to sales and service excellence”.

For Spitfire, Tom Fellowes, Sales Director said, “We have been buying Nortel products from Crane for just over a year and we have found the technical and sales support teams to be very supportive, always willing to help and keeping us well informed of any new developments to the portfolio, which is definitely what you need from a distributor – along with good quality training and the right pricing of course!”
