Spitfire Whitepaper Offers Guide to IT Relocation

IT
Spitfire has produced a whitepaper providing guidance for businesses planning an office move and needing to minimise disruption by mitigating IT risk. Written by Graham Lewis, Director of IP Engineering for Spitfire the whitepaper draws heavily on his experience of Spitfire's major premises relocation in 2012. As such the whitepaper entitled, ‘Moving office and mitigating IT risk', is based on the real-world practical knowledge of a senior IT professional.

The whitepaper provides a step by step guide to the issues that have to be factored into a complex premises move involving IT infrastructure transitioning between sites. Points covered include LAN and WAN relocation and essential backup measures.

As an independent supplier of network services and solutions, Spitfire has extensive experience in helping small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) gain the best results from network connectivity and UC solutions. Spitfire offers a range of voice, Internet and UC solutions for business customers covering broadband, Ethernet, SIP Trunking and hosted and on-site phone systems and UC functionality.

Commenting on the whitepaper, Graham Lewis said, "Our own premises move taught me some invaluable lessons on the do's and don'ts involved in a premises move and I thought it worthwhile to record that information for the benefit of our customers. Whatever the size of business in any premises move today transfer of IT resources is going to be a major consideration for a successful relocation. I hope readers will find our experience useful."
