Steljes has announced the appointment of Paul Jackson as Business Development Manager – Microsoft Lync reporting to Chris Southern, Head of Business. The appointment is part of Steljes’ continued investment to help its resellers take advantage of the tremendous opportunities that the corporate market offers, as more and more companies turn to collaborative technologies to reduce costs and improve productivity.
Prior to joining Steljes, Jackson has held a number of executive sales roles in communications companies specialising in voice solutions for next generation networks including unified communications and is a Microsoft Lync certified sales person. As part of his remit, Jackson will help to accelerate the adoption of SMART Room System for Microsoft Lync across all vertical markets, through end user and channel engagement.
Earlier in the year, Steljes launched the SMART Room System. SMART Room System is a turnkey hardware system designed by SMART Technologies that brings Microsoft Lync into meeting rooms and simplifies the collaboration experience for both virtual and face-to-face participants by providing seamless voice, video and data collaboration.
Martin Large, CEO Steljes, comments: “I’m delighted to welcome Paul to Steljes. His appointment is a key step in our investment and growth plans. His strong sales experience in the unified communications field and in-depth technical knowledge will prove invaluable to our resellers. He joins Steljes at a pivotal time in the company’s drive to build on the momentum that it has already gained in the corporate sector and create new revenue streams for our resellers with the latest SMART visual collaboration solutions.”
