Steljes Limited has announced the launch of SMART kapp, a digital capture board that enables users to capture, save and share ideas.
SMART kapp is one of the newest products from SMART Technologies and is an alternative to the traditional dry-erase board. Working with an app that allows smartphones and tablets to be paired with the SMART kapp board, content can be captured, saved and shared.
The benefits of using SMART kapp include instant saving of ideas in high resolution images or PDF files and content sharing opportunities. As content is written on the board, it appears in real-time on the paired device and can be shared instantly with up to five users via the live web-sharing feature enabled by the app.
Martin Large, chief executive, Steljes, says: “The traditional dry-erase board has been a fixture in every organisation for over 50 years but just hasn’t kept pace with the changes those businesses are facing, like more collaborative working, and the emergence of the mobile workforce. What makes the SMART kapp ideal is that it caters to the modern organisation by offering better chances for collaborative meetings and allowing remote workers to participate regardless of where they are.”
In addition, the SMART kapp board is quick and easy to install and no IT integration is necessary as it merely plugs into a standard power outlet.
With demo units now available at Steljes’ head office in Bagshot and Executive Briefing Centre in Moogate London, orders are now being placed and shipping of the SMART kapp digital capture board will begin early in 2015.
