Steve Davis joins VegaStream as Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing from Mitel where he had held the post of Vice President Global Marketing. Andy Barrow joins the company as Channel Manager for UK and Southern Europe and Ulf Sundin takes the post of Sales Director for the Nordics and Northern Europe based out of a newly opened VegaStream office in Sweden, with Tomas Helmfridsson providing local Pre Sales support.
These appointments reflect the current upsurge in demand for IP telephony amongst business customers and VegaStream’s determination to be the leader in the enterprise gateway sector.
Steve Davis has responsibility for Sales and Marketing across VegaStream’s EMEA operations. At Mitel he was responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of the company’s VoIP strategy across North America, EMEA and Asia. Steve was at Mitel for 12 years holding a number of senior sales and marketing positions. His early career included sales, marketing and channel management roles in both the telecommunications and IT industries with companies such as Dial-A-Phone, STC and Toshiba.
