STL Communications was a finalist in the Oxfordshire Business Awards Employer of the Year at an Awards dinner on Friday 21st June. The STL team received their certificate from TV presenter Toby Anstis in front of over 500 other local Oxfordshire business people.
The Employer of the Year Award recognises organisations that have developed a stimulating and supportive workplace with a well-motivated, well-trained, ambitious, innovative and integrated workforce. From investing in staff training to participating in social and fundraising events, STL employees believe that it is a great organisation to work for.
The most recent new staff member Bob Young, STL’s Project Coordinator, said “STL is the best organisation I have worked for in my 35 year long career. There is a really positive ethos here and the culture of skills training and leadership combined with the fun and social events help create a staff ethos that encourages loyalty and excellence in performance.”
Brendon Cross, STL’s MD adds, “Our people are the most important part of our business and I am delighted that the STL team has been recognised with this Award, which is testament to their hard work and fun that has helped us to grow each year for the last five years.”
