STL customers got up close and personal with the F1 cars at last Friday’s (9 July 2010) practice session of the British Grand Prix. STL played host to a group of customers in the Formula One Paddock Club area, where they enjoyed lavish F1 hospitality.
On the pit lane walkabout guests mingled with drivers and F1 stars. STL supplies both Mercedes GP PETRONAS and Force India F1 with telecommunications and so the STL party was able to visit both garages to see the cars and talk to the drivers and pit crews.
Phil Donigan, STL’s sales director commented, “Our relationship with F1 over the years means that we are able to get really close to the cars despite it being a busy race weekend. Our customers were thrilled to have had this amazing opportunity.”
