As an organisation, STL has a strong environmental ethos and has actively made significant changes to business procedures to operate in a more environmentally friendly way whenever possible. STL also helps organisations to become greener with GreenMinutes, STL’s carbon neutral telephone call initiative that enables clients to offset their carbon phoneprint and to work smarter by using a range of free eco features including connection of home workers and conference calls.
Phil Donigan, STL’s sales director, commented, “We have made significant progress in our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and become even greener. The environment is a key part of STL’s ethos and is embraced by all our staff. Membership of OXCRI is another way of demonstrating that we have measured our greenhouse gas emissions and have reduced them through internal change.”
OXCRI represents the interests of its members by promoting and providing solutions to help reduce their carbon footprint. Nick Thomas of OxTreeGen concludes, “Each OXCRI member will have a tree planted within Oxfordshire on unique plot numbers helping to create, manage and protect new woodlands and habitats. All our carbon offset projects are UK based and audited, helping to increase the general awareness surrounding the issue of climate change and CO2 emissions to businesses.”
