Storacall TeleAcoustics has added new multi-media versions to their range of acoustic hoods ideal for housing information terminals, tablets and instruments as well as being perfect for providing privacy for mobile phone calls and as a face time zone or virtual reception. They can also be used for housing phone charge points and other accessories if required.
The hoods are available in a variety of designs, materials, colours and finishes which can even include leather and fabrics to cosmetically fit with any particular building, location or environment. The hoods are highly visible and can create a focal point for potential users and signwriting can be applied to the outside of the hood for example; Information Point’ or ‘Mobile phone Zone’.
The hoods can be wall mounted or fitted to self-standing pedestals Terminals and equipment can be positioned on the shelf or wall mounted in the back of the hood and for heavier units optional mounting plate can be fitted allowing a load of up to 50 kgs to be safely mounted.
The various hood models have a range of acoustic qualities with some designed to attain a high level of noise reduction up to 23dB
