Ernst is a qualified economist, who specialises in business informatics, and is able to draw on thirteen years’ experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, she worked for Verizon Business, a provider of communications and IT solutions for large corporates and public authorities, where she held the post of Director Advanced Voice Product Management. In this capacity, she was responsible for the development, rollout and management of VoIP and contact centre products at an international level.

In less than ten years the company has managed to become a market leader in one of the toughest sectors in the telecommunications field. Therefore, the challenge of being part of the development of a young, yet very dynamic company was very appealing,” explains Alexandra Ernst. “It is my goal to further consolidate Swyx’s leading position in the area of unified communications and to ensure that the company continues to grow inline with its long-term business objectives.”
